A form of limestone featuring small holes and fissures, created by gas bubbles rising through stone's layers, or trapped plant vegetation decaying within the stone over time.
Finishes Available: Brushed: brush stone with a coarse wire brush; Creates a soft, undulated surface. Tumbled: cut tiles are tumbled in a rotating drum with one another creating softer, rounded edges. Filled & Honed: a dual process finish achieved by first filling the holes or fissures with resin, followed by honing. Creates a satin, smooth finish to the surface; showing the true colours of the stone without reflection. |
